It has been confirmed that Emma Watson has signed of for the last two Harry Potter films.

"Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will reprise the roles they have made their own: teen wizards Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, respectively, in Warner Bros. Pictures' Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final two motion picture adaptations of J.K. Rowling's best-selling book series. The announcement was made today by Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures"

While Daniel and Rupert have both signed up for the last two films, it seems Emma has yet to do so. Her apparent reluctance has has led to a flurry of news reports over the internet saying that she has quit the franchise.

However, there has been no official word from Emma herself, or the film producers, Warner Brothers, who have recently stated that they are confident that she will return.

It could be that she's just being shrewd and holding out for more money...

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the films, gave a speech at Oxford Union detailing her casting six years ago, through to her thoughts on the latest film.
