The British Board of Film Classification has published the running time for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on its web site as being 138 minutes and 4 seconds (2 hours, 18 minutes and 4 seconds).

The folks over at perhaps the largest Harry Potter fanfiction archive, Fiction Alley, get the first view of the the IMAX trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Harry Potter's German Publisher has announced they will be releasing the German language of Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows on the 27th of October 2007.

The Swedish language version (Harry Potter och Dödsrelikerna) will be released on the 21st of November 2007.

J.K. Rowling has updated her site, announcing that she will be giving a midnight reading and book signing in London on the 21st of July to mark the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Warner Brothers has announced that Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson who play Harry, Ron and Hermione in the Harry Potter films are to be honoured on the Hollywood walk of Fame, outside the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in a "hands, feet and wands" ceremony.

WHAT: DANIEL RADCLIFFE, RUPERT GRINT AND EMMA WATSON will be immortalized at one of Hollywood’s most famous landmarks when they place their hands, feet and wands in cement in the forecourt of the world-famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

WHO: Stars DANIEL RADCLIFFE, who has played the title role in all of the Harry Potter films; Rupert Grint, who plays the role of Harry’s best friend, Ron Weasley; and EMMA WATSON, who is Hermione Granger, the ever-studious friend of both Harry and Ron.

Issued just ahead of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™, the seventh and final Harry Potter book, Royal Mail is proud to commemorate and celebrate an illustrious British author and a true global publishing phenomenon.

Just two months (60 calendar days) remain until the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, it's creeping up on us fast. If you want to read the whole series before the release on the 21st of July, you may still be able to manage it by reading around two and a half chapters a day.
